  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method

  3. Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 15x10x1-inch pan with non-stick spray or line with parchment.
  4. 2️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar:
  5. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  6. 3️⃣ Add Eggs & Extracts:
  7. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.

  9. In another bowl, whisk flour and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

  11. Spread 3 cups of batter evenly into the prepared pan. Spoon cherry pie filling over the batter and spread evenly. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top of the cherry layer.
