  • ▢ 4 cups shredded green cabbage about ½ medium head
  • ▢ 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • ▢ 1½ cups shredded carrots
  • ▢ 1 cup ranch dressing
  • ▢ ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ▢ 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ▢ 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • ▢ Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ▢ 1 cup cooked bacon chopped
  • ▢ 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions

Method

  2. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, purple cabbage, and shredded carrots.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together ranch dressing, mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing mixture over the vegetables and toss until fully coated.
  5. Stir in chopped bacon and chives, reserving a bit of each for garnish.
  6. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  7. Spoon into individual serving cups and top with remaining bacon and chives.

- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
- You can prepare the slaw base a day ahead, but add bacon just before serving for crunch.
