  • 3 15 oz cans Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 15 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 8 oz can diced green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup half & half

Method

  2. 1️⃣ Sauté Aromatics: In a large soup pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped red onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. 3️⃣ Season: Add salt, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
