Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino (Starbucks Copycat)

  • 1 cup milk whole, oat, almond, or soy
  • ¼ cup strawberry purée fresh or frozen, blended
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or sweetener of choice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons crushed golden cake or graham crackers
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Fresh sliced strawberries for garnish

Method
 

  1. Instructions:
  2. Make the Strawberry Purée:
  3. Blend ½ cup of fresh or thawed frozen strawberries with 1 teaspoon of sugar until smooth.
  4. Blend the Frappuccino:
  5. In a blender, combine the milk, strawberry purée, vanilla ice cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and ice. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  6. Layer It:
  7. Pour part of the blend into a tall glass, add a swirl of extra strawberry purée or crushed cake, then repeat to create visible layers.
  8. Top It Off:
  9. Add whipped cream on top, drizzle with more purée, and sprinkle crushed cake or graham crackers.
  10. Garnish & Serve:
  11. Add fresh strawberry slices and a straw. Serve immediately!

Notes

Notes:
For a dairy-free version, use almond milk and coconut-based whipped cream.
Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for an extra high-protein snack.
Crushed graham crackers can be swapped with pound cake crumbs.
